Hi, I'm Julia

Hey there! Julia the boudoir photographer here. Today is all about Wall Art and why you shouldn’t be so scared of hanging your images on your walls! At the end of the day, it is absolutely your decision whether or not you wish to display your boudoir shoot images at home. I just hope to shine some insight into why Wall Art is freaking amazing!

First of all, as a boudoir photographer, Wall Art is my all-time favorite product that we sell. Why? Because I know you’re going to see it every single day!

It’s likely that you’re going to buy a collection containing an album and a piece of wall art (plus some other stuff). I get asked by nearly all of our clients if they can swap the wall art out for something else because they don’t want to hang their images at home. It makes me so sad!

The images we create for you are going to be tasteful and classic. And in the vast majority of them you are going to be wearing more than most people wear to the beach! And yet, you wouldn’t question displaying an image of you and your family at the beach, right?

In fact, we strive to create several beautiful portraits during our boudoir sessions (in addition to all the gorgeous body shots we take that will make you feel beautiful). These portraits are totally family-friendly! You could even hang them in your living room, and no one would know they were from a boudoir session.

Sure, you probably have friends and family over to visit. And yeah, if you have kids they probably go in your room! But that shouldn’t be a reason for you not to proudly display your images on the walls. You are allowed to have a safe space where you can celebrate yourself. What better way than by seeing a few gorgeous images on your walls every day when you wake up?!

The Importance of Boudoir Wall Art

I think it’s important that we teach our kids that it is ok to be confident and feel comfortable in our skin. Bodies are nothing to be ashamed of but celebrated instead! I’m not saying they should be subjected to a picture of your bare ass, unless that is something you’re comfortable with. But why not a gorgeous portrait of mom? Or a silhouetted body shot?

We are going to create such a wide variety of images for you at your session, you will have a hard time choosing which images NOT to print for your walls!

Hanging your boudoir images on your walls at home does not have to be taboo – it should be normal!

You should wait until your session day and see your images before you decide to write off purchasing Wall Art. Let our work and your beauty surprise you!

Something else was there too, inside my brain, urging me to not back out. “You need this,” it whispered, so quietly I wasn’t even sure I’d heard it. But it was there, subconsciously changing my outlook on such a daunting prize...
